Caroline’s reflection

Coming to Melbourne means being in a new world. Everyday is a challenge to not only fit but to do our best in the hopes of a great future after our studies.

Being alone in a new place can be frightening. However at the bright side, I began to trust God more. This is what I’ve learnt most in the Easter Camp. To put our trust in God and have faith in him no matter how bad the situation is. Since this is my first Easter Camp and being the youngest, I was quite self conscious whether I will actually assimilate into the group of 20-ish uni students but hey, it’s actually alright after all. More than alright in fact. The most heart warming session I find was the affirmation. The fact that people tell you that you are a great person not only makes my confidence grow but also tell myself that there are still hopes of good people in this world. In a nutshell, the C.O.S.D.U Easter Camp has indeed brought out the faith towards Jesus in me like never before. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Kudos to the Easter Camp committee!
