Yan Fen’s reflection

Easter Camp this year was a blast! It was amazing how the new COSDU members fit in seamlessly and develop strong bonds with the rest of the family. The amount of fun and joy that was shared was very heartwarming.

Throughout the camp, people have been coming up to tell me how they were really enjoying themselves. The feedback for all aspects of the camp has been very positive also. Sessions were fulfilling and meaningful, and it has been encouraging to know that we have organized a camp where everyone had a good time and also gained spirituality.

As camp coordinator, there were tons of things that were needed to be settled. A huge constraint for us was time, and given that we only started everything in October and that Easter camp is much earlier this year, it was only through sheer commitment and cooperation from the camp committee that we saw through Easter Camp.

Looking back, with all the worries and hiccups in administrative issues, I think I have gained immensely, in both experience in coordinating a camp, as well as exploring the issue of faith deeper through preparing the sessions. But to witness this positive aura of vibes surrounding COSDU now is truly the miracle of this camp.
